Thursday, April 9 - GENERAL MEETING – 9:15 a.m.
Program: Pruning Fundamentals
Speaker: Ann Perkowski is the founder of a specialized pruning business, The Lady Clippers. She is a master gardener who since 2011 has taught the pruning fundaments class at the NYBG. Her garden designs combine high-performance trees, shrubs and perennials with an accent on natives.

MEMBER PLANT EXCHANGE/AUCTION - The SWAP-A-PLANT TRADITION continues. A great way to add a new plant to your garden. Bring a plant, get a plant! Plus, a PLANT AUCTION of specialty plants.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2026 - ANNUAL MEMBERS LUNCHEON
UPCOMING TRIPS FOR MEMBERS. Subject to change. All trips have benches and are semi flat except for Untermeyer. 3 miles with one-to-two mile options. Carpools are at Thornwood Apple Bank, usually at 9:30.
May 28th-UNTERMEYER no tour, free, 3 miles with a hill , benches for people who want one or two miles, picnic tables 10:15 meet at front area before the gate. Possible lunch at Harvest on Hudson- $50.00 a meal. Will need a headcount for reservations. Carpool in Thornwood 9:30.
June 23rd-HOLLISTER HOUSE Beautiful Gardens and walkways. Price will be decided by how many join us. There is a $150.00 nonrefundable deposit which includes up to 10 visitors. Additional visitors will pay $15. Restaurant to be determined at a later date. Carpool in Thornwood at 9:30.
July 16th-BARTLETT ARBORETUM, no tour, free, beautiful gardens lots of shade, with indoor and outdoor picnic tables. Approx 3 miles semi-flat, Restaurant to be determined later. Carpool in Thornwood at 9:30.
August 6th-INNISFREE GARDEN Beautiful Oriental Gardens. General admission-$10; seniors-$5. Approximately 2-3 semi-flat miles. Millbrook Diner. Carpool in Thornwood 9:30.
September 10t -NJ BOTANICAL GARDENS Free on weekdays and close to Harriman in Ringwood. Approximately 2-3 flat miles less due to benches. No tour. Lunch to be determined later. Carpool in Thornwood 9:30.
October 8th-CLOISTERS (possibly a free tour at 1pm), pay-what-you-wish tickets with NY address (must show ID), Medieval architecture, gardens, art with Gregorian Chants on speakers. Walk at your own pace and/or sit as needed. Lots of benches. Meeting time and lunch will be determined later.
